CrossFit in 100 words :

Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar.  Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat.  Practice and train all major lifts:  Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, Clean & Jerk and snatch.  Similarly master the basics of gymnastics:  Pull ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups,presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds.  Bike, run, swim, row, ect., hard and fast.  Five to Six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow.  Routine is the enemy.  Keep workouts short and intense.  Regularly learn and play new sports.


What Can I Expect From This CrossFit Fundamentals Course?

The Fundamentals course will meets for 2 classes (Monday July xx and Wednesday July xx). During the one-hour class you will, along with other beginners, be working with a certified coach who will safely expose you to our movement curriculum. Movement techniques will be effectively practiced, as well as general weightlifting safety. You will also be exposed to a progressive introduction to the intensity levels that are inherent in our group classes. Each Fundamentals Class will end with a workout involving the movements you were taught that class and previous classes.

What should I bring to class?

Lets keep it simple! Bring a bottle of water, a good pair of sneakers, and the willingness to step out of your comfort zone and see what CrossFit is all about!
